1) STAGE PERFORMANCE

The stage performance must be based on the STORYLINE university/college to interpret and stage the performance. It can be a musical play, a pantomime, a choir or any other form of creative art.

  • Each participating university must submit the following information by the 18th  of April 2008 :
        • Title of performance
        • Number of performers
  • Order of the performance by each university is predetermined by the organizer.
  • Contestants must make their presence known by personally reporting to the Contest Chairman.
  • All contestants must be present at the backstage at least 30 minutes before their scheduled performance.
  • Contestants will have to prepare their own set-up and prop, they will need to notify the organizer a day before the actual performance.
  • Flammable items are not allowed except candles.

 

JUDGING CRITERIA

  • Judging will be done based on the following criteria:
      • Creativity                                                        25%
      • Originality                                                       25%    
      • Costume & props                                           10%
      • Music and sound effect                                  10%
      • Entertainment value                                       30%

Five points will be deducted from the overall score for performances exceeding the 10 minutes time limit.
The decision of the judges is final.

  • Prizes will be awarded for :-
  • Best Lead Actor / Actress (Jaki Suparno), Best Supporting Actor / Actress Best  Team Performance, and Best Props and Costume
